Castor oil in Belly Button?

Many people have asked me about my thoughts on using castor oil in their belly buttons to help with constipation. My simple personal thoughts are this:

behind that belly button is scar tissue and ligaments, so, it seems like it would be very difficult to absorb much of anything via the belly button. It’s not like it would hurt you, just scientifically probably not very effective. Other options are to use a castor oil packs! Our skin will absorb the oil quicker and more so versus the belly button. Minor heat with castor oil packs helps the skin absorb it even faster and you get a larger area treated versus in a small spot like the belly button. If it’s a matter of getting things moving…lol…castor oil packs help the lymphatic system…castor oil taken by mouth can help move the intestines quickly. I think magnesium glyconate works for helping go to the bathroom, in addition to weight loss, bone health etc.
